i have had several calls on this allison wanting to know who "Team JACO's" is........ back when TDBA, ADBA raced then formed ODBA the crew from JACOS MARINE put out some fast boats, from what ive heard there boats got that "special treatment" when they were built, they were also a pretty good size allison and mercury dealer at that time..hmmm... guess thats why this allison won so many races- it was built to be a top running drag boat with those " special attention to detail hull modifications and blueprinting"....

Jacos Marine is in tennessee, dont believe they race anymore, but when they did -- very hard to beat and great guys.

so thats the story ,, there are alot of youg racers coming up and learning the ropes,, the history of the sport goes back a few years now, so find one of us old racers and ask alot of questions, we love to talk old times.
