Let me know during the whole build Mark if you need any pics. I don't get on here much anymore, but you know how to find me.

Thanks Dave! I always thought that was a really nice Jig. I know you did it right because that boat is amazing to drive

Mark a friend and I cut the floor out of my 1971 Sidewinder I/O today . Thank goodness the main stringer running down the center was still good . time to pass her on to another owner , I've owned it since 1973 , have not run it since 2006 . It's time .

Hope every one had great holidays!

Lil boat looking good. ..keep bringing em back. I've always loved the pics of scotty's (think that's right? ?) vandal...he's always got that thing aired out.

Picked this up this week. ....shortest prop I've ever ran. Should be a blast with the 2:1 gears in 660ft!

This is the jig I built to rework my Viper. It may be a little extensive, but since I split the hull I didn't want to take any chances distorting the bottom. I made a cardboard template of the bottom and built the jig accordingly. I only had about 100 bucks in lumber to build it and screwed it all together. The coolest part about it was, when I was finished with it, I just unscrewed it apart and a fellow screamer came over to pick it up in his SUV and gave me 100 bucks for it. He is restoring a Bicentennial Viper with it... I have more detailed pictures if you interested. As Jeff mentioned, I would be more than willing to help wherever I can.

It obviously wouldn't fit a Vking due to the strake and pad differences but do a search here.....it might give you some ideas. Jos is a good guy and would be more than willing to chat with you about what he did. I'm sure he'll swing through here at some point. Look forward to your progress!

Just picked up a 1990 Hydrostream Virage. Will be continuing work on it in the Spring. Plan to take out the floor and inspect the core and sponsons for wetness. Any online help would be appreciated
