Merc v6 flywheel assembly question?
Hey guys I got a few 16 amp flywheels that are apart in a box, hubs not bolted in. Do they need to be assembled in the correct position. There are 8 choices I could choose? I just searched and got mixed options if it matters or not ?? Thanks for the help

Thanks guys! Jeff I know this sounds dumb but how do I know which one is the North Pole magnet? Will it only line up in 1 out of the 8 spots? Thanks again

The assembly will need to be balanced for hipo use. A magnetic compass shows N & S.

What about getting the #1 piston to TDC and getting the flywheel timing mark to zero?
