135 carb options
Will a set of WMV-4 from a '96 175 work on a 1990 135hp fat block 2.0, or will they be too much?
Thanx

The WMV 4's had the same throat size as the WMV 2's in the '96 150/2.0 at 1.312". You may need to adjust jetting a bit. Use the '96 150 specs as a guideline and you won't be far off. The later 135's had the big bore WMV's too. You'll need to change linkage and the throttle cam too. The carbs open different ways.

I had the 1.312" bore WMV 2's on the 150 in my checkmate for a while and with 26 CC heads, 16 amp charging and a size up in jetting it would buzz right up to 7K .

If they are WMV 4's they aren't off a '90.
