mad efi !!! for omc
I haven't e mailed them yet, just found there web site.
anyone have tried there efi system on a omc block, or seen any dyno #'s

Too many variables for dyno numbers unless compared on the same powerhead. If venturi size is the same efi does not add peak power it does allow for better tuning thru the rpm range.

I set up a few of them with great success they can talk you through it you better have an understanding of how it works though

Tony Brucato's EFI works very well for an OMC and he is very easy to get a hold of and talk to you about it.

What OMC do you have and what are you running it on? I'm running a Brucato ACU on my 2.7 with a E-tec front half and plenum it took a lot of work and a pretty good bit of money but wouldn't trade it for all the plastic carbs ever made. Now having said that if you are running it on a heavier boat or are not going to be racing the carbs will probably work satisfactorily but on a light boat "Hydrostream,Allison or STV" you can either put your money in pistons and jets of fuel injection.

great advice guys,
the boats a hydrostream viper that is perfect on the out side and getting a new composit core this winter, for sunday runs it will have a stock 175 fitch.
but I started this because I want to make something cool and difrent, im a evinrude dealer and have saved a bunch of old repower motors, some thing to beat the 2.5 guys.

its hard to go back to carbs after selling direct injection for the past 18 years.
and form a over the counter to custumer stand point I love the 60* blocks, but older cross flows bight be beter
