    Alison GT20 resto

Well I went and picked up my allison gt20 this past weekend and some how ended up buying a 98 allison GS for 2k boat was sank so it's pretty much just a hull but couldn't stand. To seen it get parted out everything is there on the GS just no trailer so I think I did good on both boat got the gt for 500

well back to the GT have to fix a lot on it but love the lines of this boat floor stingers transom and some of the. Core is rotten so here's the question I was thinking of doing the. Core with cell and the. Floor and transom with coosa and was also thinking of putting a 250xs on it but not sure how it would carry the. Weight so any input would be very helpful I am not looking to make this an all out screamer just a fun reliable boat. I am also thinking of making it center steer with two seats in tandem with two jump seats in the back

It sure fits that Triton trailer well. Do you have any pics of the other boat?

definitely center steer. have a race model and have had it both ways.Very weight sensitive Not 100% sure on the 250 but think it would be fine, have seen twin 2.4s on them. Ernie

ya that triton trailer will now be for the allison as i just bought a new aluminum trailer for the triton since in see's brackish water alot and no i meant to get a pick of the grandsport but between loading the GT20 and keeping my dad from buying every project boat they had i forgot but its all there intior and the motor is a 200 2.5 the boat but it sank in salt water in hernado and the marina didnt even try to pickle the motor so i am assuming its toast along with all the electronics when i pulled the cover there was water floating in it still the boat was on a boat lift and it failed and the former owner lives up north so the marina salvaged it for him and he just abandoned it at the marina so they told me i can have it for the cost of salavge and storage i left them a deposit on it the owner of the marina told me that the 2k was just a ball park on the high side so i going to see if i can maybe get him down alittle bit he told me he was flexable so well se when i go down next month to get it

I would be interested in the GS if you buy it and decide to sell.

dose that seem cheap I thought it was fair since its basiclly just a bare hull no trailer and everything is trashed gauges ,wiring, motor it was sank in saltwater for one or two days the interior is there but not in the best of shape I know I don't have to worry about rot because it's all composite but still. A lot of work to put it back together
