87 seebold eagle ski.100mph realistic?
I bought a 87 seebold eagle ski and I'm looking for what speeds to expect with a 260 and what the optimal setback is.the boat measures 18.6 I believe

Boy that sure looks like a clean one, would love to see more photo's of it, I notice IL reg on it, where about did you find it ? I'm guessing you will be very close or in the triple digits with proper set up/ prop. Good luck, be safe, looks to be a super clean boat from the pic.

thank you for the response.a buddy of mine from St. Louis found it for me.it is in incredible condition.i had a transom put in it bc it looked soft around the drain.only turned out to be a few inche of soft wood but better off w new transom anyways.will post a couple more pics

If you set it up correctly you can get it into the high teens. Call Seebold, they will be more than happy to help you dial it in.

mid you ever are looking to sell this boat, I’d like the opportunity to purchase it. I grew up in St: Louis just 5 minutes from the Seebold shop. I spent many years watching the IOGP races at the meramec river.
