The bearing retainer nut probably slipped causing the failure due to threads being bad. Had the samething happen to my torque master. Aluminum Dr. In Fl. Can install a threaded insert and welds it in place, had mine done. Nice job but he is a one man show so it takes a while to get it done depending on how much work he has on the go.

    NO response. CROOK
I had similar issues not 8 months, case was going the Bud Hstream1 for stainless coating when he was done so Bud got ahold of him and it speeded things up. Wouldn't want Bud on my bad side.lol
like I said one man show and seems to have way more work than he can do in a reasonable time.
He did a great job just took a couple of months, but not 8.

Aluminum Doc did a great job on Daves Lower but as mentioned he can take awhile. There is another option and might be worth contacting him.

Contact CHAZ on the board here via PM. Charlie can weld repair them and rethread also. He is in Stewart Fla. His two numbers are 772-408-7377 or 772-221-9328. Tell him Bud @ East Coast Powdercoating sent you his way.
