RJ who is Shaun Torrente radio man told me that they were down on power. I say if he is down on power he did pretty damn good.

In the early 1970' s the Mercury / Molinari race shop in Como, Italy was producing many hull/engine combinations of the European F1 race winners. Here is an inside & outside photo of the 1970's race shop. So having said that, I want to wish Jackie Stewart a Happy 78th birthday today.
Because back in the early 1970's Jackie came to race shop in Como. Jackie arrived by pleasure boat to the shop, with his wife and two kids. Roy Ridgell (my dad) gave Jackie a tour of the shop, whilst Giorgio (Renato Molinari's younger brother) and I watched. Jackie's wife and the two little kids stayed and waited in the boat. Jackie was staying at the Villa D' Este Hotel on Lake Como, days before going to the F1 Monza GP to compete.
