We hadn't been to the camp since last may. There were no rats or mice around according to my buds. Never really see or hear any. The rattler is keeping them under control I guess. It is an island, but snakes can swim pretty well. Unless a gator or croc gets them. There are a lot of ground dwelling birds around and I bet he gets some of them for his meals. He would make a real nice belt....
