Go to NAPA and ask for the Gates fuel injection line.
Good to 225 PSI and resistant to any fuel.
You get what you pay for.

had a box of the sierra with the plastic liner and I first hand saw what happens to it when you try to install over a barb the inner plastic liner comes loose and plugs up flow .I threw it in the garbage

YES! The ONLY way to stick a barbed fitting in it is to hit the belt sander, and sand off the barbs smooth, clamp and a "hope and a prayer", it works. Kinda funny me, as I have NEVER had any problem fuel lines in my LIFE! BUT? Also never had to by any new anyway last 20 years (3/8ths anyway) as had a good 200 feet. Smaller like 5/16ths, 1/4 for the small stuff? Seems anything needed if I don't have anyway was just fine. Also zero prob ETH me..(so far anyway). But on the 3/8ths hose me? Long ago at still "working", there we used it for anything. Air lines, Gas, Hydraulic lines, name it and zero problems. Heck, I ran compressor air lines it..(screw the PVC pipe crap) all over the shop with QD's ends and simple push in and forget sharp barbed fits the lines. EMT clamps to hold the lines where needed. Simple, cheap, and works fine 20 YEARS me fine, with ZERO probs!
Also been using it for 3/8ths gas lines to the day, and NO PROBS!
Heres whats on the hose..(I still got plenty left, and yes..NFS!) "Dayco-3/8" ID 300 PSI max WP-4.A O-de-MSHA 2G-20C Flame resistant" Of course this was made before the EPA idiots decided to "save the world". And to tell ya the truth, I've used Harbor Freight "air hose" for gas lines too, and no problem. Also clear smaller ID plastic hose for gas meant for say "Fridge Ice maker lines" and it works fine, just turns yellow and stiff.
Do what ya want, but now I put a inline gas filter in anyway.
Kids anything "NEW and IMPROVED? HA! The new "snake oil magic travailing trailer show is in town!".............I mean come ON
Who came up with the idea gas fumes are leaking out fuel rubber lines and destroy the earth as we know it? "We need to fix this massive problem!"
My take here? Got a shop town who does Hydraulic "stuff". They got they hose ya need thats proven, and EPA aint got there face in it either to screw it up.
Also should add here any doing SS braided lines for whatever. The same "inner liner" is there too..(or use too, as none done lately as did one my HD all SS braided oil lines, but not AN fits, smoothed barbs and simple hose clamped, as little oil pressure.
My think here? SKIP the boat/ auto crap stores. Go find a shop that does "Hydraulic stuff"Last edited by Robby321; 10-24-2014 at 08:32 PM.

I've been running Parker Push-Lok hose for years now. I've put non eth, E10, and even dabbled with E85 going through it, and have never had an issue. It's easy to work with, cut, and is available from summit and jegs....great stuff.

I'm a hydraulic mechanic now for 30 years. I have a Parker hose crimper on the truck and different hoses with all the fittings I need.
Have replaced more hoses and know what is what more than most.
The gates hose at NAPA is all you need. Just ask for the fuel injection hose it has green letters on it.
Don't have to go to the Parker store or any other hydraulic store to get fuel line.
It is not that complicated!
