The U.S. Marines Would like to invite all boaters to The Boating Toys For Tots Tour . This will take place on the Saint Johns River in Florida on the Dec 6th weekend 2014

A Captains meeting at 10AM
The Toy run to Welaka
Collection of toys by the US Marines

...thanks much over "Sunshine Patty" for the vids and the idea to try and set something like this up where I live on Galveston Bay. Toys for the kids that are not as fortunate as some of us are for this upcoming holiday season are is something that more boaters...whether go-fast or fishermen ought to be involved in. I also know from personal experience that those Marines get a boost out of helping them out.
My Dad was a survivor from the "Frozen Chosin". Any Marine will know what I am talking about, and he was one of the last Marines to be evacuated. He always made sure before he passed to head down to Galveston and hit everyone up for toys for the kids.
