Just reading the ad, I'm assuming he's looking for an alien Mariner 2.5 cowl, and he has a mint 280 Merc cowl to trade for it.

Paint one. Merc did. Get decals from the guy in New York that has the ads on ebay. I will find his name and post it. Perfect match to originals. I like the Mariner stuff too. The clear coat just pops.

Don't think twice about it. I have a mint Merc drag cowl that I've already got prepped for Mariner paint. Of course, my decision was made easier in that I also have another mint Merc drag cowl. Originally Posted by speedinstream

Wow! Mercury cowls are way easier to find than Mariner! No way in hell I would've done that. I would've sold it to somebody that wanted a Mariner
