    2.5 exhaust dividers?

Can anyone tell me is there any real difference in dividers on 2.5's.......200.....225..260.....280. Im put'n together a laser injected steel sleeved 260 block,245 front, single ring 300 drag pistons and the only divider i have is a promax. Any advice would be great

Promax and 260 are the same divider. You're good to go

The only thing I have found but sure it would create an issue is the 4 slotted/rectangular water passages on the early 245/260 are approx 1" and the 225PM are 1 1/2".
I can post a picture if necessary.

Ive used the 260 plate on a 225. Just make sure to use the correct gasket for the divider. Same number of holes in the slot.

I would think in your case it would not matter. Even if the block has only 2 holes instead of 3 it will be blocked anyway. Mercury has made so many changes even with the same HP motors that only having the 2 blocks and plates side by side would be hard to tell..

Wired, Sure the gasket are important but we are talking about the actual plate (metal) BTW, I only use Merc grey gaskets I have found the green ones just do not align properly
