Just added a cool new propeller tool to the website I think some of you will like.
Just added a cool new tool for the high performance (or any) boater to the Cool Water Products website I think you guys will like. The PROP STOP is a tool for holding your propeller while you tighten or loosen the propeller nut. Using blocks of wood or other material to hold the propeller at the tip can cause unseen damage and changes in pitch to the most critical part of the propeller. http://shop.coolwaterproducts.com/Prop-Stop-PSSLVR.htm
Now I know a lot of you have used a block of wood. We all have. This is just a better tool IMO for the job. It holds the propeller at the thick root of the blade. I have personally bent one very thin Yamaha Drag prop and also nearly lost my teeth on the lower unit when a cleaver split the 2x4 I was using.
The Prop Stop was designed and built by S&F very own JPerog

Ive got one of those. Ive used it at some of the big events so I dont have to worry about pulling my prop off when parked at a hotel overnight.

Yep....A little piece of mind at home is good too, no indoor storage, and the GSE is sitting on the pad with her prop hanging out, nice to have a little deterrent.
Plus it's a quality USA made product.....

Have used McGard wheel locks since the 70's. The McGard sterndrive mounting stud locks. And on large outboards(and small outboards), the 1/2" mounting bolt locks. McGard was the first in the industry. I met Scott Porta in 1982 & bought one of his first multi-engine transom jacks/lifts. Great, innovative guy in the marine business. This prop holder is just another excellent example of his out-of-the-box marine engineering talent.

Ive seen similar before always something someone made for themselves. Now you can buy one. Wouldnt be a copyright it would be a patent and tat is a VERY expensive process.
I have shipped some out and hope they post some independant feedback but I dont know if the customers are from here or not.
Ill bring some to the Suwanee Run as well.13' Biel tunnel AKA "Flight Risk"
