I think we need to borrow the ballistic dummy from MythBusters, strap a jacket on and throw it over at 100mph and see what happens as thats the test we would all like to see the results for

Im ordering two sets for my Mustangs and will let you know what I think.

I received my NRS strap kit today and they are junk. The website says they are 1" and they are only 5/8" made in China and one little row of stitching at the buckles.

The MTI you can see in the Amazon pic are at least cross stitched at the buckles but I think I am just going to have something made.

This is the one I'm looking at buying.. anyone have an opinion on it? Other than it not having leg straps, it looks like a good compromise until I can afford a Lifeline.

for that price you should add another $100 and get a lifeline poker run jacket with straps. Much better for the price

I always wondered why recreational water is softer than race water when you hit it?

Noticed the Mustang vest has plastic buckles. Could be bad.

You just have to use what your comfortable
with and that's it. I was there last month
when someone went over backwards at over 100
with just a normal ski best on and all was fine.
I've got pictures. I like my mustang and it's on
    me all the time period.

My life line is not very comfortable but neither is a hospital bed.

I like the kevlar reinforced because my boat's deck is 100% 1/2" foam cored, vacuum bagged and infused. Im more scared of going through the boat then I am of getting wet. Beefs deck is so thin it would be like running through a wet budlight box, mine would be like going through a concrete seawall.
