That is a 98 Summit 670X, heavily modified from stock. Probably 120 -125 hp, with a narrow ski stance and a 151" 1.75" track. It rips very well for it's vintage! That's my son. He's been riding since age 4.
I'm riding the sled I bought for him when he was 12 - 06 GSX 380. I need an upgrade!

Don't take this is in a bad way comment ya'all in FL but I'd go nutso without seasons. What do ya real do down there but boat? Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring? Ya got zero mountains to ride MC's, of course some damn nice "Muscle cars" but what else to do?
And this is to the mostly to the "snowbirds", transplants. NOT the great "born and raised "Southern boys" as I got zero prob with them as thats there known "life"
Sorry but when lived Midwest, it was summer the Fox Chain boats.(Blarneys), fall start getting the sleds ready and pickle the boats. Snow and ice hits, sledding and skiing and "Ice racing" the dirt bikes summer with studded tires on the ice. Plus the many hours spent in the heated shops working the bikes and classic muscle rides. Simple never a dull moment!
Here in the PNW? Best MC riding part the earth and surrounded water Puget Sound.
I can leave morning on the bike, hit Mt St Helens, then up and over Mt Rainier east side and hit the the ocean to see the sun set! Home and go sit and relax in the boat in the slip.
Winter? Yeah, its gray and drizzly but we have mountains a hour away for sledding, skiing, as "snow play time" But summers here are simple to me "perfect"
And you kids in still back there in the "other" "Great Northwoods"? (Wisconsin, Minn, UP etc)? Some the best fast sled "snow go karts" known, and done it decades and still miss it to the day. Simple crazy fast sleds, and "nothing like a warm bar" for BSing, and?
Suit up and lets go!
Its all good..............called life..... just stay healthy as thats all that really counts.Last edited by Robby321; 12-18-2014 at 08:51 PM.

Robby, we have lots of things to do in the winter.aside from being able to go boating any time, as i posted in this thread ,dirt riding is great when it cools down 2 & 4 wheel.last weekend a bunch of us scream & flyers went to the forest to have way too much fun with our side by sides, mountains are only a days drive to reach. camping ,hunting , lots of outdoor parties during the winter, also doing yard work, never stops , ....lol. i remember those snowy months when i lived in Michigan, nice to visit ,but i wouldnt want to live there.cool is ok ,cold just suxxs for us southerners.

I hear ya loud and clear. And got a LOT "SBirds" now retired moved in there..(why? retired and "no more winters Midwest" wimps!). Most do the west coast middle, (Myers) as same breed them have taken over. But thats NOT the "true south" like I know as visited there many times since the 70's. But theres nothing like a "good old Southerner boy" Heck one my best riding buds both old school HD "Shovelheads" is a PNW tranplant "Florabama boy" and a better "friend" ya can never meet one better!
Simple great people there...(but still on the bucket list"? Alligator hunting! ya LA swamp kids! Rock on, have fun "life", and "just do it! WHY?.."cause its there"
