Off 2014 important notice!!!!!!
Once again OFF will be partnering with CRA's Fall thunder. Gerri Prusko and Bill John have requested a head count of attendees for this year's event. We expect it to be bigger than ever, but last year they accomodated a bunch of OFF folks at the last minute and this was a bit of a problem in planning their social events. Please......PLEASE.... make your reservations for the socials in advance by going onto www.classicraceboatassoc.com and signing up. Yes there are fees but this is for meals, drinks, etc....and also allows us to know who will be bringing boats for display and or running on the race course. Please be aware that this is an APBA sanctioned event and includes insurance, on site ambulances, and fire equipment....
Thanks in advance for your cooperation. We look forward to a GREAT time!
Steve Sirois....Please forward this message via the OFF email addresses.

CRA/OFF 2014
13–16 November 2014 in Tavares Florida
I guess this is our 6th OFF, if I counted correctly. Last year was our 1st in conjunction with CRA. On Friday night, they welcomed OFF with open arms and a lot of good cheer. Rich Luhrs and Roger Hinsdale paved the way for us, and we owe them a huge round of applause for opening the doors. Bill John and his wife, Gerri Prusko, along with all of the CRA folks run a wonderfully orchestrated event. I strongly suggest that you join CRA. I don’t remember what I paid for membership, but it has definitely been worth it. You can call or e-mail Gerry Prusko for details at vintageboat@comcast.net or (352)729-6060. You will see many old friends and meet many new ones.
Once again Iris and I are looking forward to seeing all of you there – Steve & Iris Sirois
ALSO, if you even know how to hit a golf ball, you definitely need to jump into the Jackie Wilson Golf tournament on Thursday, NOV 13 at 10:AM. Entry fee is $50 payable to----
Mrs Betty Baker
2369 yellow grass crescent
APOKPA. 32712 Fl
Fee includes a cart and cookout Thursday afternoon at the home of Bill and Betty Baker in Apopka. Jackie has built some beautiful trophies that will be presented to the best or luckiest duffers at the Friday night social event. just looked at the itenary for Fri, seems Friday is crane and Course set-up. I'm doing my best to justify taking 2 days productivity and profit to be able to play with you guys on Thursday and pay for motel and meals, then to have the "games" begin on Sat. being a member of CRA I feel obligated to volunteer for what ever I'm need to do, we will within our ability. as for golf, I may just drive down for the day, trying to co- ordinate to professional careers for this many days is getting to be a challenge. for 50 bucks a membership in CRA is a good use of your resourses to keep this struggling sport alive. fun out

well since we're on the subject ,,, how many outboards plan to be participating ??? the last one I attended in feb I belive there was a lone Allison with a 2 something liter, seemed kinda lonely out there just rounding the bouys by himself. I don't wanna be that guy. would love to see some of the "Super Stars" like "John Tiger" and others out there and could only hope for for some "Sloppy" conditions for this 17" Action show what she is capable of
