ok weed cutters they are it wasnt meant to be a test. the choppers you have are they 15 spline large ear? have you ever heard of magnolia 1662 cat. looks like old power cat it raced and won some mississippi river race in 1968 cant find much about it. it was built in vicksburg va.its15ft9

Actually, back in the late 60's they were not called chopper props but instead were elephant ear with chopper blade design but thru hub exhaust and had 2 blades and ran at very high transom heights. They then evolved into the modern chopper prop.

I have an old 2 blade bronze prop, 32 pitch, and the blades look more like a Hoss than a Chopper. I've never seen an offshore, but from pictures the blades are similar. Looks like no progressive pitch at all.
