What prop and setback are you running with that 250xs? Looks like it caries the boat very well!

Thank you, I actually don't remember at all. I have the boat stored at my brothers house right now, so would have to go over there and check. Do you have any friends that would like a great boat like yours? I have not had even one person come look at the boat. It's a gorgeous piece and everything was new when we did the restoration years ago. It literally only has about 54 hrs on motor and all other hardware. Just found out that to buy just the bare hull and new trailer from Lavey is over 25k and that is with no rigging at all. Would love to find this boat a new home, I know its a great deal, all I need is someone to see it in person and it will sell it self.

Nice Lavey. Really like mine, and highly recommend 1 for anyone looking for a hot rod family boat.
Any interior pics? What's the story on the swim platforms... Did they change the deck tooling? Mine's a 95 and they are integrated into the deck.
Good luck with sale!

Thank you, when we restored the boat we changed the transom around to make it a platform to make it easier to put a water ski on and personally never really like the look of that pocket.

Interesting. Looks cool/functional.
We're redoing my transom this winter too but leaving the integrated swim platforms and pocket. Laveycraft had the floor and knees glassed together in a way that allowed moisture from the floor to get into the knees/transom. Not good.

Thanks,
yes we know that as well lol. Same thing with the fuel tanks. When we restored the boat we really beefed up the transom because we bought a New Honda 4 stroke for it. Was great in theory, but did not make enough bottom end torque to get the boat on plane very well with people in the boat. Finally gave up on trying to make that work and traded it in on the New Optimax, which turned out to be a great choice. When we redid the floors we had new Imco tanks glassed in so there will never be any moisture in there to rot out. If you can think of anyone that would like this boat please send them my way; the only call I get is from other owners asking about setup lol.
