    Smile 14.5' mirage tunnel

I recently purchased 14.5' mirage tunnel with a center pod. I think it was a drag boat originally. I am thinking of putting a 12" champ mid on it and machining an adapter to put my 1986 115 merc power head on it with a shiftable gear case. Does anybody think this would be to heavy or to high a center of gravity. What would be a good alternative? Any advice or ideas but I'm trying to stay away from anything omc.

Will try to figure out how to post pic boat is white was originally red. Just started to sand the white off to see how much red it has left and how much damage is covered over. Is the tower to heavy? I have a very clean 850 xs that could go on instead?

find a T2X exhaust/tuner adapter. It will allow you to bolt a 73 and up inline to a v-6 12 " mid. Hard to find and expensive but it is a bolt up. In the picture, it's the one on the left(Thanks Norris for the pic.)

that's the problem, once it enters the secret layer bunker of the one what's called Raceman, it's like a dollar bill coming out of my friend from Israel's wallet, ole George is squinting and blinking his eyes it's been in there so long.

Borrow one and I will make a pattern and cast some or machine a couple. I can see a use for those. I can pour up to 20 lbs. Aluminum only.
