    using the endoscope is the greatest thing since sliced bread when you can see everything all looking absolutely perfect.
    all the lovely cross hatchings, piston rings looking nice, tops of pistons showing the original numbers and dimples (if they have them)

    But what a sh**y horrible stupid device it is when you think your seeing bad results !!! you wish you had never heard of them ha ha .

    The thing is you need to practise with it a fair bit to get used to the view, and also remember this wonderful thing is showing up everything magnified on a large screen.
    Cylinder heads that look all scratched up turn out to be in great condition , ive seen a piston that looked proper coated with carbon, turned out it was a drop of
    fogging oil giving back a huge amount of refelection .
