Pretty nice day for us. If you don't want to slug it out coming up the river, just put in at Rocky Hill then cruise as much or little as you want.

Not being used to longer runs I was a bit uncomfortable and once I launched with the gusts blowing up enough waves to brake over my bow while waiting for a friend I was beginning to question being out there. By the time we were headed up river the chop had settled and the run was not bad at all. I can say I was still tense when we slowed down for the Middletown zone but by the time we got going again I was relaxed. I do not think we had more than 6" chop once the river narrowed.

This being my first year here and other events with you guys I must offer my appreciation for how well everyone works and plays together. The competence and helpfulness when launching and recovering 30-40 boats in windy conditions. The camaraderie and professionalism when running together at speed and the no wake zones. The social side at the ramps and on the beach.
All of you have developed a great sport that I am glad to be joining into. Thank you to all involved.
    Regards,
