    300 rude v8 oil line question

    since i have the powerhead torn down i was going to remove all the little tits for the oil injection and replace them with allen screws and red locktite, any reason i shouldnt do this as i only plan to run premix. thx for any info, rm

    V8 OMC's did not come with oil injection. They used a premix system in the VRO pumps. The fittings that you may be referencing are the 8 primer tube fittings. Unless you are building an all out race motor, you may want to leave them in place.
