whats the best type of hammer to punmel a trim seleniod, deadblow, ball peen, or claw

one of my trim tab seleniods is clicking but not passing current so im going to try to drill out the rivets holding it together and fixing it.. i dont think i can find the exact same version here in colombia. if the repair fails my back up plans is to try to turn it into dust with repeated hammer blows so im just trying to decide on the best hammer for the job. deadblow, ball peen or claw hammer? you would think by now trim seleniod technology would allow them to be waterproof and reliable...thx for your imput, rm

As somewhat of an expert in this field over the years I prefer a good Ball Pein because of the rapid response you can deliver . Fiberglass handle to dampen any unwanted vibration .

what makes it better is the fact that the trip pump is mounted on a trick two piece slide out bracket , you remove one screw and you can slide up the bracket to easily remove the pump assm for easy servicing.... only problem is they then put a heavy duty offshore battery mount just above the trim pump so you cant slde it up to remove it and to remove the battery mount i will need three right arms, two coming out of my shoulder and one exiting just below my rib cage due to the deck being on the boat at this point in time... wtf

My cool trim pump bracket with the vertical slide out feature is mounted with less than 1" between the top of the pump and the bottom of the splash well..... so it's worthless
