Getting Excited Talon is almost done!
Ronny Haylock sent me this video this morning, I am getting really excited to get the Talon back. It's been gone all summer, Ronny has been doing a ton of work on it over the summer and it starting to look pretty good. All new gel and a new paint scheme coming soon. The 250xs is back together just waiting for new solid mounts to show up, rails and injectors are on there way back from fullers.

I miss my 21 skater with the 300xs but do not miss the hop. WAF loves the Talon at 80+ she would not let me run over 50 with the skater, Talon needs power steering which it will have after the re-rig. I thought about buying Gene's 24 and rigging it with a single 300+ but I am too deep in the talon. Now if DBR would get the 1.1 kit ready for the 250XS and Taylor would actually return my calls or e-mail re a 15" mid I would be a really happy camper.

no it is not, well at least not when I got it it came from quebec Canada via Ontario Canada it is an original 93 twins boat that was rigged with twin 260's originally. then the 300x as a single and they hit a freighter wake at 93MPH, they had it fixed and it sat outside for a year after the crap repair with no swim platform installed and all the repaired wood was rotted as they did not seal and of the end grains. As you can tell Ronny has gone to the nines repairing it.

I was talking with Ronny today, that is just the basecoat... I am SUPER STOKED ordered a new 40' container today to move more junk out of the shop as the Talon is going inside all winter. Ronny I owe you big it looks AWESOME. I am coming up to take the whole crew out for supper! Well free water ON ME - LOL.... Honestly you would have to see Ronny's house he has the greatest spot on the water in my opinion and when you see that place you can understand the quality level, he is also an awesome gardener with a love and passion for that and FAST boats. Looking at this makes we want to go and get another glastron GT160 for him to re-do.

Thanks Jacques, I started watching the movie last night but feel asleep before that scene, I was talking about the bateau being a Glastron GT-150, where I had mentioned having Ronny do a GT-160 for me, my all time fav boat for an Inline 6 Merc. I am not sure if it was a 140 or a 115 HP V-4. I had a GT-160 that I had completely ripped apart and ground out ready to start over I had stored the deck outside and the frame collapsed and crushed the deck broke it in half so I scrapped the boat. I still have a lot of the inside parts and the windshield for that boat but it has a crack in it now as well. Anyhow back to the talon...
