I think randy was running 18" of setback.
Also, I'm pretty sure I've read that the drag 4 and et both didn't run that great on the pulsare because they didn't have enough bow lift. My own experience is that max bow lift was always fastest on that hull. I believe it was croxton that told me that no prop has as much bow lift as the t1 due to its very high parabolic rake, and that was fastest for me by far. I always wondered how a plain ole chopper could run... My guess is that's what randy's magic top secret prop is. A chopper with 18" of setback wouldn't require a lot of trim to keep the nose high.Last edited by engineermike; 09-14-2014 at 10:34 PM.

I have recently put on a 300xs in place of my 225 opti. 73 mph..And it has been a pain.installed it with a 6 inch Bob's hydraulic. Ran same speed as the 225. So I added an extra 8 static plate from hydrodynamic. Ran it yesterday finally and saw 82.59mph...@ 6200...sport master case. Jacked up is still 1-1/2 below pad. Prop is a hydromotive 28 intimidator quad IV -X O/B set. Group C...If I can help with your set up. I will.. but I could use some pointers myself. I am trying for 90mph...
Your pulsare is bad azz looking. I hope you get your 100 ...Last edited by the Shocker; 09-15-2014 at 08:54 AM.
