You will NOT miss it a bit and you should also sell it to me as fast as possible send pics and put me 1st in line...... I miss my HST and my Euro but the rest of them not so much. I can tell you this, I sure enjoy the hunt for the new ones. Keep in mind if you do love the AE-21 think twice about selling it. They are not replaceable. I know of only 2 of them still in good shape and that includes yours. Good luck with whatever you end up doing! PM me if you do decide to let it go.

The hunt for them is the best part.. I think I like the deal, finding the parts and the process as much as driving them... Plus boating is so freakin expensive it keeps you from any other vices

i regret sellng my larry smith kevlar 39scarab, i had a pair of new 1140hp 588c engines being built for it. i bought a pair of 4 5/8 cranks from extreme marine in miami and both failed on the dyno due to a crappy journal repair and they were sold to as new cranks. that disaster added 15k to my engine build which i already had 75 k in. i said f it after that and sold everything but when i saw it completed by the buyer i kick myself in the azz

Well I decided to put it up for sale, I was sick to my stomach putting the ad up but I think at this time it is the right move, the boat deserves to get used by somebody

Just bring it to the Romp. I'm sure I can find somebody to use it for you, and you wouldn't even have to go to the trouble of selling it

It's an absolute beautiful boat and I recieve endless compliments on it when I take it out. Especially from people who grew up in that era and remember seeing these loud azz things rolling across the water. I know I thought they were the coolest boats on the lake back in those days.

I would think any car museum would allow it. They are always looking for interesting car related items and paying big money for them so something like your Dads boat on loan would be a big plus for them.

I am in the same situation. I finally decided to put the Sanger up for sale a couple weeks ago. Just seemed like a shame to let it sit in the garage untouched for another summer. I have a guy coming this Saturday to come look at it,and I imagine if he buys it the boat it will be bitter sweet but I think my dad would want to see the boat be sold to someone who could enjoy it like he did.

My only requirement is that whoever buys it has a garage to keep it in.

LOL..... I thought about that for a little bit last night Joe...... Here is what I came up with....

Found a great boat for a great price.
Shipping from Cali to FL is a little to much
We decide to go get it our selves to save 2000bucks.... Here is where the insanity begins

Drive out in your truck because its nicer than mine

Actually make it to Cali and pay for the ''first boat'' and start heading home because 3030 is a cool guy!

At some point in Texas we stop at a Best Western with free WIFI and we check Scream and Fly because we are addicted to it and find a a ''NEW'' ad for a really killer boat that's 200 miles past where we just were in Cali.

We then come up with the bright idea to call our wives and tell them we have been involved in a minor accident and it will hold us over for 3 extra days. Brilliant!

Then travel back to see the boat, like it, gotta have it and Hit the bank get more cash and pay for boat number 2....

We then rent another truck, a nice one with a CB and start heading back to FL.....

At that point we both realize that Dave Bush is right around the corner and take a detour to see him and Joe Abellera just to shake hands and pay our respects.

Well wouldn't you know it he has a couple killer top secret X and XS motors for sale... Back to the bank...And Joe don't forget they like Motorcycles too and there is bound to be one in that shop YOU will have to have...

2 weeks later we arrive home and say WTF just happened??? I was trying to save 2000bucks on shipping and now I gotta sell some Chit Quick!!!

    F&%K IT IM IN......LMAO
