Whos going to Jasper for the ODBA race Oct 10, 11 & 12?

We're gonna get there Tuesday night and take in the sights for a couple days before we get down to business. I can't wait!! I'm hearing several people from down here in DSRA are running this year. I'll be Pro Drag

If you guys are looking for a place to stay we really enjoyed staying in the floating cabins. Tied the boat up to the porch and went for rides anytime without trailering to the launch. They arent top of the line and had a few spiders but were reasonable and a great location. They also do haunted tours of the old damn and there's a creepy old cemetery on the property. It was a fun place to stay. There is also a boat ramp right nearby.
The cains varied quite a bit in how nice/clean they were so I would ask about a nicer one.

I looked at the floating cabins and if not for having young kids I might've gone that route. Pretty happy with the house we rented in Kimball

I dont think so. Went last year and the 12 hour drive is a deal killer. We just got back from vacation and have some other family stuff between now and Christmas plus wrapping up some remodeling. Now if it were a little later and the fall colors were out my wife would probably be all for it.
