    Michael at the risk of sounding stupid whats the difference in the 5250 and chatfield rods ?

    The original 5250 rods were used in 1995 and earlier small top bearing crank shaft engines with the thick wrist pin washers. Chatfield rods were used in later model s-3000 and 300 drag engines.
    The Chatfield rods are .100 thinner on the piston end for newer style pistons.

    Dbug the set that Ryan is sell is a really good deal these rods are not cheap from mother mercury

    Agree...they're like $435 each from Merc.

    Also, everything I've ever bought from Ryan Beckley has been primo stuff.
