The face of the tube is the heaviest part, especially with the big flat Trinitron TV's.

Don't get me started "talking"..Parker..(again?) BUT? Did I tell the story back my Switzer in the 70's? Dark on the Fox Chain now. Got the GF, and go P/U a Nam Vet bud mine, and his wife in my Switzer. Out for lake front "lobster din". So he stole the table candle, those mesh plastic covered red ones. And hid in in the wifes purse, pay and leave the boat. Said me "go out middle the lake and shut it off"..OK. So my GF is still a 20 year old kid..(but one tough girl if pushed!) So he whipped out a 44 Magnum wheel gun. Said to Laura.."ever shoot one these?" She said nope, but lets go for it! He sits the candle lite in the water now floating 10 foot away boat. Told her go for it! BUT, shoot LOW first, as recoil will pull ya high, and a "bullet skip shore line?..we gonna be in trouble fast. (one crazy Nam Vet too, but real as they come!)
So she loved it! But not close enough to hit. After 6 rounds, my cheap azz tried to idle back to it and "save it". Damn RIGHT I ran it over! Now? A simple TV floating..?..."a great Target!"
And Pyro right on vacuum tube..(my dad was a TV repairman)...damn sure will float.

Parker summer of 09 seen two bags floating off the about 20 miles off the mouth of the Mississippi River. Two weeks later something like 15 kilos washed up on the beach of Grand Isle. I still wonder today if that was those bags. Seen a few of those bags already working in the Gulf and I always wonder if there "Square Groupers"
