Well, as I'm back warming my bar stool again, seems the bar was kept alive without my help! You guys are nitwits!

Seriously, lot went on behind the scene here and many thanks Greg, Norris, side emails, Sue, Mark others who looked into it. And that other thread? Pete, others, ya had me cracking up there! Yanked my boat out the slip last few days, bath, gas up, back in with high tide later today.

Then I gotta go settle some other BS in Ferguson as I'm on a roll. I need a little excitement anyway!

And Scott, he has been there as well. As I'm sure others have, big site once in a while things happen. Just great to see everone has fun with it.
Don't think anyone really was giving Greg or the rest of the mods a hard time, Shat happens would not want to be in their shoes and appreciate all the work you do. Even though it seems an up hill battle.
    Thank you Scream and Fly...everyone.

Boat back water, zero probs, but a STILL can't back up a M/T trailer worth a chit, as "backing up?, aint my style!

Man thats NORMAL people..old and retired up early..(I've heard about them, but don't know any, mostly the BS news the boob tube). In Nam a kid 69, at 19, on the gun truck rear convoys. 3 days on the road. I was a spare gunner/only Mech..fix it fast, or Phosphorous grenade on the engine block, torch the SOB, get the hell out before dark, as catching up the convoy and get the hell out. Get back base camp, crawl all worn out in the mosquito net covered rack, and get eaten alive "Fire Ants". Seems a year of cat naps. Plus rockets coming at us random middle night, freaking gooks, just to piss us off. Hate to get started this after 45 years me, but guys it NEVER goes away the back the brain. Damn landing out that hell hole in Seatac, LOOK a STOPLIGHT and traffic down there landing! Damn near tipped the plane on its side when we all piled the "view" Home! And after a YEAR chiting in a bucket, or anywhere needed. First thing we did was hit the johns de planing, as simple AMAZED to see "a flush toilet". Think we ran the well dry! I wish NONE the crap I did a kid, and the after affects that have "tortured me" back the world. But I'm one tough SOB, always was, always will be. And I have ZERO regrets life what done, as I damn sure aint no crybaby. But the "coddled USA?"..simple don't now why we are free to spit stuff. And "have a attitude". (Gotta live life the hard way first and then appreciate it late in life here, as USA "still the best"

On sleeping? BS, worked 21 years Maintenance Machinist up 5am, do what needed. Plant close down, had age, and time service, retired 20 years ago. I'm simple making up "sleep time" I'm STILL a night person!..as how many parties start a 7am?..(as done many all nighters, and as always last man standing as its make sure all passed out floor, couch, name it, OK.

OK nuff my BS, and for some who can't under stand what I'm saying post? YOU need to get out more, not me, as been there. Meet me personal in my shop, 12 pak, toke one and let me tell ya face to face..like the old saying boats..Get in, shut up sit down and hang on!

Leave ya with this link. A old friend mine here a few houses down me, took in her brother to care for, as did 3 tours Nam. Flew C130's (60 YEARS those made now) as choppers, Hueys. He was shot down with a "schrap in the back" Dave. All survived, but Dave had to do life constant VA care, and could not walk with a damn. Took him 1/2 hour to hobble down with a cane, to me to sit and BS Nam. Well we (me) got on the net, looking up Nam stuff us. SOB! Found my old buds NAM! In the link, last pic beer party. Thats me standing on the left, the NOT TAN yet "greenie" Great group, and remember them all well. I was the "replacement" for the dude who linked it, as he was ETSing "home". Yes, we been in touch, but like him, as me, actually can't remember much, as ..(well, had to be there, but wish none those times any)

Trust me on the story..as the "one day turned into 3"? Cat nap, and here we go again. For a year. But as convoys doing beer, smokes, food, bullets, ammo, potable water, and the best us?

No cell phones then..no zip contact "the world" But when we brought "letters and packages from "mom" ..(always Brownies!, and damn right we shared). But these grunts out in the bush, fire bases? Always had a tear in my eye leaving them. Just kids, but some tough SOB, that never backed EVER from anything. Then many got the freedom bird home many in the 20's, as "too young" to get a beer here? Damn, world sure got some problems.

Anyway, (what the hell was I talking about?)

    This..
