Hey guys I haven't been on this forum in a few years now. Was wondering if there was anyone in the Albany/Saratoga NY area. I have a 1978 Checkmate skimate that needs a lot of work and was hoping someone local could give me some insight on getting it put back together. I started working on this boat about 7 years ago, never finished it and it has sat ever since. I'm now ready to get it going and in the water.

Hope to hear from some local guys.

Originally from Clifton Park, now residing in NJ. Can you post pics of your project? For mechanical work, Performace Marine of Lake George are the only ones to go to in Upstate-they are also on this board. I'm sure they will pipe in.

Mechanical I can do. I'm looking for floor/stringer/transom work. I ripped out the floor and started putting a new one in a few years back, never did it right and never finished. I can post some pics later for sure.
