What in the world is this all about? I think I better read this one from the beginning...
I want to also say, that banning people here is something we never take lightly. Those that have spoken to me know that I end up giving people many, many chances to stop whatever behavior is causing trouble before we take action against them.
I am always willing to discuss the problem with anybody we've taken action against, and I have lifted bans before. It's nothing personal, but when issues end up causing us to devote more and more time to extinguish the little fires, there comes a point where we have to do something.
A quick edit here - I have emailed Robby to discuss what happened.

Can't believe Robby did anything to get banned. But stranger things have happened. Robby wouldn't wish bad on anyone.
If he did step out of bounds I'm sure he would apologize and never go there again. Just as f it was an Administrative oops, Greg would apologize and life will go back to normal.
You have to know with the crew here they will capitalize on something like this and make it entertaining, kina the same as if you were sitting around all the boys here and said the wrong thing. They will take it and have fun with it, just human nature.
Nothing against Scream and Fly but the opportunity came up so people will roll with it.

I was banned a year or so ago by accident. Got caught in a spammer banning mishap. Greg even emailed me and apologized.
I gotta agree though, whatever he said, who could make enough sense of it to be offended?

The banning of multiple spammers requires a manual approach - there are no automated features in place to deal with spammers other than the registration countermeasures we have. I would not trust anything automatic to remove spammers anyway, since something like that could certainly take action on a false target.
In any event, Robby is back, and I have emailed him. He did email me a few days ago so I was looking into his situation.
