Here's what I came up with for the drain plug, I used some treated wood I had in the garage and a drill press to match up with the hole. Then added a mini stringer to keep it in place while it cured and give the pad some extra strength

The one in my ventura was a block of wood as well as the Vector.

Chris, I'm thinking about it.
It might be overkill on top of the core and the 1708 cloth I used, that stuff is almost bulletproof

Frames are for torsional rigidity. They do wonders for making the boat stiff and solid with very little weight penalty. Along with tying the floor to the deck.
Highly recommended on our boats.

nice now make sure you add drains in the corner of each 1 so water doesn't collect including your center pad support.
