1968 Power Cat 17h with modern horsepower

On the car scene they call these "Resto Mods" taking an
older classic car and adapting modern building methods and
products and modern power for a unique hot rod.
In this case they used carbon fiber honeycomb panels to
reconstruct the transom and structure in the boat for weight
savings and strength to manage a 225 PM Merc power.
They are still working on set-up and have not reported any
speeds yet but there is a short video linked on the page of
a test run at speed. Not bad for a boat designed in 1962.
