I used to ride my Jetski in there but I do all my boating further north by Bordentown now. No other reason than I live further north now.

sorry for the delay in replying! There is a public boat ramp at the end of Park st. Just past the Riverline train station. For non Bordentown residents it is a $10 per use fee or $125 for an annual pass. If the dockmaster is not at the ramp you need to go to the Police station on Farnsworth ave to pay.
The ramp is in pretty decent condition as long as it's not dead low tide. At dead low you can launch, but good luck getting it back in. There's a dropoff at the very end of the ramp that you can drag your empty trailer back up but not with a boat on it. Never been an issue for us because we just wait 30mins and the tide changes fast enough to fix it. Plus at low tide we are usually beached on the sandbar under the bridge hanging out.

Just seen this thread. Back in the 90's there is a little beach up past the rt 130 bridge that used to get packed with people and boats but that all seemed to die off to nothing in the past 10 years. I try to get out a few times a year on the Delaware up north by Nashimany creek during the week if anyone wants to meet up. I have a few friends that we usually hang with also.

Sandbars are everywhere at low tide but you cant see all of them. They all are about the same. Any where there's a bend or point there will be a sandbar coming off the out going tide side,. Running up at Bordentown would be better and there's a lot of boats at the sandbar which is up every other weekend in the afternoon. This is not a sandbar weekend coming up. Stay in the channel especially if you go towards Trenton, you can go all the way to the Trenton Thunder Ball Park. There's also a good ramp near you at The Neshaminy marina. 1300 2nd Ave, Croydon, PA 19021

Wingnut, I found where everyone goes now.
They're at a sandbar a few miles up near Beechnut Lane and Tiffany Lane in Willingboro. Yahoo Maps satelitte view shows where a lot of sandbars are on the creek and other areas on the river. Hit me up if anyone wants to go up there. I learned boating on the Rancocas back in the 60s and 70s and can show the way, but there is a lot of no wake areas now.

I'm down for a few weeks but looking forward to getting back out this summer. I generally keep my boat in the great egg harbor area but sometimes bring it up home
