Well I have to say, I like her alot. She got on board quickly, and is definitely my advocate. Wifey has already filed for divorced. Didn't use her regular attorney from her first marriage and all her custody stuff. Wonder why??

Anyway, lady says I have a very good case. So.... hopefully all will go well. I just had having to spend the money I am going to have to spend.

Guess I will be BBT soon. My boys will hate that.

Totally agree.
Don't get in a "who's the cool parent" war with her; I'm sure you know that. Do what is best for your children, they will remember that when they grow up.

I witnessed what being a mean nasty ex was like to children, I have no desire to do that to my sons. That contributed alot to why this marriage didn't work. My wife is probably still paying legal fees for court battles with her ex, and she has no custody of her other children. If she had handled the situation where her son from her first marriage bit our son in the genitals better, I would be more agreeable to working with her. My wife believes her first son, and I do not have a choice, I have to believe mine. Strap the kid on a polygraph machine and if he passes, then we can talk, but beyond that, no reason to discuss the matter.

I bet she paid 100K in fees.

I figured you knew how to act. I was just throwing it out there cuse we can all get wound up at times and make mistakes. That's all I was gettin' at. Hope things work out for you and your kids. God bless and I'll include y'all in my prayers.

Thanks that means a lot. I just really hate it for my kids, but dang, I was just in a place where I couldn't stand the sight of the woman anymore. Get off you pity pot woman, put on your big girl panties, and get on with life. Dang!!

Don't matter how bad someone else has it, she can top it.

Do you have the law in the US where in a divorce they cant take away your source of income..
Plenty of guys in OZ when they see it coming become fishermen ( buy a license) and buy a 60 Bertram ( etc, use all the cash) to live on and go fishing...
check mate....

PS second plan to pre set up is get a maid to cook and clean, then the wife cant say she did all that in lieu of working....

I told the boys saturday. My oldest took it pretty well. He said he wanted to live with me. My youngest was more upset, and then later when me, dad and the boys were out shopping for new shoes for them he says "I'm glad she won't be living with us anymore, then she won't yell at us all the time".

So.....

And the woman who can't have an adult face to face chat now all of a sudden has found her voice and says we have "issues" to discuss. Said we could meet in public and I could record it.

I hate to be that way, but don't need or want any more of her drama. 9+ years of it.
