    Trim ram hose fittings?

What are the fitting sizes of the 2 trim hoses where it connects to the single piston ram? I am considering doing away with the preformed bent metal tubing and going straight from the ram to the trim pump in the boat.

I don't want them routed through the inside of the clamp. I would just have it come out of the ram and straight to the transom instead of the preformed and tucked tubing. I have a 10" jackplate so it wouldn't get pinched anywhere.

Same as automotive brake lines. I think they are 3/8 X 24, 45° SAE inverted flare, 3/16 tubing.

You can use adapters to JIC or AN 37° flared fittings then run the braided Teflon hose into the hull.
This picture is of a different ram but the fittings would be the same. I used bulkhead fittings where my hoses go through the hull. My steering is hardline to the helm, the lift cylinder is braided hose to the pump.

That's what I was thinking but was hoping someone had the answer instead of having to break it all down at a shop to test different fittings.
