2 Thumbs up to Diamond Marine
I have only dealt with Marty a couple times but both times outstanding. A couple years ago I wanted to buy something that I though would help me and he told me flat out I would be waisting my money instead of just selling me something to make the sale. Today I ordered some parts and he took the time to answer some stupid questions and even answer one twice lol. Its just refereshing to do business with someone who doesn't shove there product down your throat just to make an extra buck.

Great people and honest . Wish I would have used then on my first motor that got hacked to death twice before I finally got another motor and sent it to diamond . 280 has run perfect every season with many many hours of enjoyment
nothing cut,hacked , stuffed . In fact not even running a spacer

I can't say enough good things about Marty and Joe. Those guys have helped me more than anybody should have. Not only did they do a fantastic job of rebuilding my 280's, they are always willing to answer questions when I have one or twelve. Or they even offer to have me drive by the shop and help first hand. Ya gotta figure what their hourly labor rate is and how much they lose by being on the phone, but they've never told me they don't have time to help me out.

Curious question, Anybody know what a Diamond built promax 225 or 225x puts out hp wise? Assuming stock they make around 245 at the prop.

Best thing to do is call or email Diamond. I know a stock 280 rebuilt by them pushes 300hp at 7700rpm or 312hp at 8200.
