If I have this right, the "SS" and "XL" name are from the new company that is now building them. With the original Talon, the two models were the outboard version and the I/O version. The I/O version was I/O only. Now, they are going to rig the I/O version with outboards. The I/O version was a bigger boat.
I was lucky enough to "borrow" one of the nine original Talon 22's rigged for twin outboards. Wicked boat for sure !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Dennis.

It is funny the XL looks a lot shorter due to the higher sides, I use to like the looks of the 21 Talon better but the 22 has grown on me and it might be on my bucket list now. Matt

My plan is to build a XL with twin 300XS and I feel it will work just fine, especially since we can relocate the fuel tanks forward along with the under the deck front access we have been installing in all the boats, so this will allow the batteries under the front of the dash to.
