It sure makes getting in and out the front seat easier.

Yes, I have inserts to do center console deletes on the SS and the XL.

That is good news. The pics you have posted so far all look to be the SS model. Have you done a XL in a single or twin OB configuration yet?

We have not built a XL yet. We do have an order for one with a single 300XS on it. Probably won't start it till the shop in Florida is up and running. Just building SS right now. I have thought about selling my Talon and building an XL with twin 300XS's on it.

The Talon 22 SS is the original outboard mold. Started production is 1990. The Talon 22 XL, which started production around the 1995 era, is the original inboard mold that now can be set up for an inboard or outboard(s). The sides on the XL are about 6" higher, it is a little wider, deeper tunnel and about 6 inches longer than the SS. You can see the difference in these pics. Hope this helps.

I am familiar with the boats as I had a 1994 22 (see photo). I never heard of them called a SS or XL and I have talked with Gary a lot as he is only an hour from me.

When you build a twin and if you do, will you build an SS or XL? I would assume an SS as I have never seen any of the original twins like your XL design.
