Making these drag boats lighter is a art form I know of one ally that super light and it is unbelievable when you look at it up close I would love to have a lite weight drag boat but at the island it wouldn't last and there are some sub 1000 pound boats but they are very rare

    carbon fiber hull = 320-350lbs
    12" drag w/custom brkt&cowl = 275lbs
    everything else = 74-104lbs

    Creativity + $ =

Please give a lil more so i can even come close to understanding how thats even remotely possible

Creativity = drilling holes in hot foot, steering wheel spokes and wing plates ect lol!!! going to need a few drill bits i guess
I didnt realize you could get a 12" 2.5 down to 275 lbs. Thats light! I wouldnt drive any hull under 350 lbs personaly but hey if theres some people dumb enough or should I say with large enough bowling balls then best of luck to ya I guess I can see 700-750 minus driver but damn!!!

Oh and Rob,sense when is money an object to you?

The thing that tickle's me the most, is that the EGT thermocouples go thru the head bolt, thru the block and protrude just the tip into the roof of the ex port.
The rest of it .. is just Bad Azzzzzz ... !

A question for you drag racers. Why have more of you not tried to build or have built a F1/F2 boat with some flatter pads (like 10 degrees) and no capsule? The bare hull would be right around 280-290 lbs. Is that to light for the classes you are trying to run? Just curious.
