That one might be sold. I posted it for a friend. If it is sold, I have one myself that I'd sell for the same price. Please contact Rob at the posted number first.

I've used it twice, with different motors, about 3" below the pad on my Baja and it just planes with no drama. Nice props.

I think this thread is going sideways. The guy is asking what he needs to do to beat his buddy using what he currently has for power. I'm sure he knows that bolting on more power will get it done. The way I read it, he just wants advise so he won't see the back of the squirt boat. Pyro's call on the 23 SRX is also a good choice. I suggested a 22 Raker because they run well at almost any height. Either way he has no chance from a standing start, but from a 20mph roll, he should have it won.

Thats just it, is this going to be a race with a set distance or just top speed, before anyone laughs at this, the real question is how much distance does jeff need tocatch the jet boat and beat him. Thats why I agree with pyro and rk mirage that a good 22,23, 24 pitch prop is a better choice then something higher pitch.

There is a 22p Raker on craigslist, Sarasota Fl. 75.00 If I were you I'd jump all over that. If you want I can grab it and send it.

Well, I'm happy to report, I borrowed a 23" alum from a friend yesterday and saw a nice difference. Not only did I beat the jet boat at top end, but out of the hole as well! I think now I need at least a 23" or 24". What do you think?

You need to ditch the aluminum props and get the motor up higher. You have not even begun to experience what your boat and motor are capable of.

An aluminum prop buried deep with the motor full-down flat on the transom is the worst-case scenario, the lowest-performing setup possible.

Yes, I know. I am just starting out with this thing and workin on raising the motor and trying some different SS props. That thing of yours looks like it runs in the 90s!

Will those even fit under the cav plate? I believe this is a 13-spline lower, correct?
