Sundance,
sent you an email/ pm from the THT site.
Bolted up motors yesterday, they're hitting the swim platform before they hit the stops on motor.
Wondering about correct engine height and best prop options

What are the center to center measurement? They look far apart to me....

Didn't hook up steering yet. The rams came with the motors, I think they're seastar. In a box in my van, I'll check again later.

That pic might be a little deceiving, they're closer together than it looks. I'll try to post a pic of the back of the boat. Not sure of center to center measurement, I'll try to get back to the boat this afternoon.

If Sea Star rams, install spacers on the shaft to limit hard over turning. They look like they're on 26" centers, which if you went narrower, you would need spacers either way to keep the inside of the cowlings from hitting hard over, so either way need some spacers...

Might have to replace the motor mounts.
Thoughts on solid mounts or stock rubber mounts ?

Finally got the boat in last Thursday for some testing.
Got out the boat up to 32-3400 when stbd motor started crappin out.
Boat was doing 47mph.
Waiting for mech to change high pressure fuel pump.
Can't wait to see what it will do at 6000rpm

Baja, did the vst & all the filters already. Mech thinks it's the high pressure fuel pump.
I have a spare kicking around, were gonna swap it out and see what happens. This motor was doing the same thing when I bought it. I thought going through the vst and changing all the filters would have fixed the issue ?
We'll see if swapping out the pump will do the trick.

Before you swap parts, get a fuel pressure gauge on it to see what the pressure actually is.

Swapped out the high pressure pump, no improvement.
Changed the 2 low pressure fuel pumps yesterday, seems to have fixed the issue.
Dropped it in yesterday to test it out, stbd motor runs fine but now the port motor doesn't want to turn over 4500rpm.
Ran nice at 43-4400rpms, 57.5 mph. With Mach Sterndriver 4blade 14.5x26
