    Wiring Diagram HELP !!!

    I am in dire need of a wiring diagram for a 2.5 260 EFI Mercury I am swaping over my 280 to 260 electric and have a few wires I cant seem to figure out where they go so if anyone has one or knows where I might be able to get one any info would be oh so greatly appreciated thanks James

    Nelson I have a question for you my motor doesnt have a voltage regulator on it is there supposed to be on on the 260 stuff ?

    I don't run one on mine. You've got a 16A charging system: the drag fuel pump uses 7A, the ECU uses 5-6A. That don't leave much. Trim it a few times and you're in the negative (<12V)
