    sport jet

I have a 240 sport jet in a eagle steptech hull on turning at mid to high speeds the unit losses drive it is inconsistent and can be worse to the right sometimes and other times to the left
there is no cavitation out of the hole and the problem does not show up at low planning speeds . Jet init is in good condition and clearances are with in factory tolerance can anybody help

Could you describe what losses drive means? I'll assume it means the pump is unloading, thus you see an rpm increase and a loss of thrust? Does it have an EZ Clean intake grate?

If memory serves, Eagle built step techs with Merc's factory intake or an optional race intake. The race intake had a longer intake ramp and the pump was mounted direct to the hull. Hull botm and intake picks pics would be helpful

Is it a 17X Sport or is it maybe an 18 Sabre, A little bottom damage near the intake can cause problems at speed but not so much on out of the hole performance. If it is a step-tech hull 99% of them have the hand built race style intakes, As Kevin Turner mentioned some pics could help us figure out your issue.
