Been wondering if my stock 150 vertical reed 2 spring latch clamshell will work with the new horizontal front and 1" spacer and velocity stacks.. so i did a lil mock up to see and here is the verdict. All fits except the V stacks. The wh20 carbs are just less than an inch away from the cowl and faceplate. Is that enough room? Will the air flow comming in be a bit suffered?

I have an opertunity to get a 1993 cowl and a 1 piece adapter from a 2.5 but been told the plate wont fit my 2.4. Is this true? If ya think there is enough room for air in front of the carbs to the clamshell faceplate then i will just keep and use this clamshell cowl and save the $ for other parts.
Thoughts???

Got a newer style cowl.and skirts for the motor. But missing the metel part that the rear latch hooks into.. the part that bolts to the lower skirt and the rotating handle locks onto. Needing #9. Anyone got one?

Assembling the motor and needing the carburetor linkage piece on #1 or #2 that connects the shaft to the long connecting rod.
Anyone got one for me?

Having problems with my bleed hoses. I have diagrams but none that show my special . circumstance. My #4 cyl DONT have a bleed fitting on the block. So what do i do with the extra fitting up at the reed? Just cap it off and let it puddle? Or can i route it to another hose that will suck it at the same time? Rember this was a VERTICAL reed engine that i converted over to horzonal front so things are a bit mixed.

Yup. Its all on there now. Was thinking of leaving it on there for the break in period. Or is it just as good to get rid of it now?

Ditch it...set timing at 23 for break in and rock on
