tell me how it is..looking to purchasing this
1979 COLE HYDO ... It has a bbc motor .said to be a small one about 400hp. Needs some hull work from bumping in to stuff...not to bad but still carbs will need to be rebuilt from sitting for the last 4 years...tons of cleaning and buffing rebuilding to do... hull is solid .... not hip on the pink and yellow... he is asking 12k for it ... i think it is 4k to much... SO what do you all think ???? Thanks Terry

not that bad .. I looked on drag boat city and found some in a lot better condition with blown bbc for 15500... I would like to find a hull and put one of my Steve Morris motors in it..... or even one of are big chief blown alcohol motor that we use for tractor pulling.. I now I may be able to get a little help from some of the guys here gun lake....

There's a few guys around Gun Lake who can help you find what you're looking for.

Looks to me like it will be a very deep money pit.
I know these things can be expensive, but a clean all round boat that has been looked after would be worth the extra.
4 years sitting doing nothing is not good for any moving parts, then engine could be total rust inside !!! but then again it could be good.
To me it looks like ity would be worth the money if 100% good and clean everywhere in running condition.
just my thoughts
