What year did Merc start with the 200 Pro XS?
What year did Merc start with the 200 Pro XS? Saw a Merc 200 Pro XS for sale locally and was wondering what year they came out? Motor is listed as a 2001. I didn't think they were that early??? I know the 200xs 2.5l was around that time but thought the 200 Pro XS came out much later? Any one know?

I believe it was 2011.. Was just a standard 200 with decals.. Mid 2012 there was a serial split , these motors included carbon reeds, hp rails , double fire coils and grey Injectors

A 2010 Merc brochure downloaded from net shows the 200 Pro XS. I have nothing for 2009, it's not in the 2008 Merc advertising.
2001 might be a 200XS, a lighter and more cool motor, although I'd be worried about the compressor.
